Anyone have any experience with how much (if any) damage can occur over time to a club used with an impact bag? I recall hearing recently that the constant impact stress will cause damage. If true Used Golf, I would guess it would be at the point where the shaft enters the head.Interested in how quickly this damage might manifest itself and if I should buy an old club just for this specific purpose. Obviously Golf Clubs, pillows in the bag would absorb a lot of the stress but because of the weight and mass Golf Drivers Blog, an impact bag will cause the club to fail before the same number of impacts with a ball. The question is, how much sooner? If its a matter of 10 years instead of 12, who cares. But if its 2 yrs instead of 10, that a different matter.
